In particular, Zelensky dismissed Pavlo Ryabikin from the post of ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Andriy Taran – to Slovenia, Serhiy Korsunskyi – to Japan, Petr Beshta – to Lithuania.
The president also dismissed Serhiy Kyslytsa from the positions of permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN, ambassador of Ukraine to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and Yevgenia Filipenko from the position of permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
A decree on the cancellation of the appointment of Emina Japarova as the permanent representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna has been published on the president’s website.
The day before, Volodymyr Zelenskyi approved more than 30 decisions on the appointment of new Ukrainian ambassadors.
“Today, our diplomatic team approved the list of new Ukrainian ambassadors. I agreed to more than 30 decisions. Among them Nariman Dzhelal – to Turkey, Alyona Hetmanchuk – representative of Ukraine in NATO, Andriy Melnyk – representative of Ukraine in the UN. These and other decrees will be issued soon, according to diplomatic procedures,” the president said.
