Patrol police are increasing the number of TruCAM devices and areas where patrol officers will measure speed.

Details: It is reported that from December 21, patrolmen with the TruCAM device will work in 51 new areas.
TruCAM devices are used in combination with automatic fixation cameras, because in this way a greater efficiency of speed control is achieved, Biloshitskyi explains.
It is explained that the places are determined in accordance with the state of emergency, in accident-prone areas and in places of concentration of road accidents committed due to violations of speed limits set by drivers.
In the regions where active hostilities continue, in particular in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the control devices for measuring the speed mode of vehicles are temporarily not used, and in Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson — they will be used on certain sections of highways.
At the same time, the patrol officers explain:
- you will be informed about the use of speed measuring devices by road signs that warn of photo and video recording of violations;
- an official car with blue flashing beacons on will be stationed at the places where violations are recorded.
In general, on the roads of Ukraine, speed control of vehicles using TruCAM devices will be carried out on 346 sections of highways.
