During the New Year holidays, the Electronic Payment System of the National Bank of Ukraine (EPS) will operate around the clock 24/7, as it has throughout 2024.
The NBU took into account the request of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine to temporarily restrict the operation of the SEP for this institution due to the end of the reporting year.
On December 30, 2024, the EPS operates in the normal 24/7 mode. The FX market, the NBU depository, and other NBU systems also operate as usual.

Payments in foreign currency through the National Bank and JSC Ukreximbank from the State Treasury Service are made until 13:00.
Settlements on payments for the repayment and servicing of public debt in national currency between the Treasury and the National Bank are made by 16:00.
On December 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025, the EPS will continue to operate 24/7. At the same time, payment and information messages from and to the State Treasury Service will not be accepted.
The banking system, the foreign exchange market, the NBU depository and other systems are operating as usual.
In addition, banks are required to provide their cash desks and ATMs with cash in various denominations in advance to ensure proper customer service.
