The court refers to the 2003 contract, which provided for the supply of 13 billion cubic meters. m of gas for 10 years at a fixed price of $110 per thousand cubic meters. The supply was planned to be carried out in the period from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2013 in the amount of 1.3 billion cubic meters per year under the conditions of delivery to the reception point Velké Kapushany on the Ukrainian-Slovak border. At that time, NAC received Turkmen gas at $50 per thousand cubic meters, and the company was supposed to earn about $780 million a year from these supplies. The company was preparing for such a decision and reserved UAH 1.9 billion for it, but, as the publication claims, it is not ready to pay. The company “is taking all possible measures to resolve this issue,” Naftogaz reported.
