During the New Year holidays, the Electronic Payment System of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) will work 24/7, as it will throughout 2024.
The National Bank took into account the request of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine for temporary restrictions on work in the SEP for this institution in connection with the end of the reporting year.
On December 30, 2024, the SEP will operate as usual 24/7. The foreign exchange market, the NBU depository and other systems of the National Bank also function in the standard mode.

Payments in foreign currency through the National Bank and JSC “Ukreximbank” from the State Treasury Service are made until 13:00.
Settlements for payments for repayment and service of the state debt in national currency between the Treasury and the National Bank are carried out until 4:00 p.m.
On December 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025, the SEP continues to work 24/7. At the same time, payment and information messages from and to the State Treasury Service are not accepted.
The banking system, the foreign exchange market, the NBU depository and other systems operate in standard mode.
In addition, banks are obliged to provide their cash desks and ATMs with cash of various denominations in advance for proper customer service.
