A Russian military transport aircraft An-72, which belonged to the Navy of the aggressor country Russia, was neutralized at the Ostafyevo airfield in the Moscow region, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on Friday, December 20.

According to intelligence, the main power plant of the plane detonated at the airfield. The explosion occurred on December 12.

The estimated cost of the decommissioned Russian plane is about 4.5 million dollars, the State Administration of Ukraine added.
