“Today, the Russians published information that they attacked the digital databases of the Ministry of Justice. As of now, quite a few digital databases of the relevant institution are still not working,” said the People’s Deputy.
According to Fedienko, SBU specialists are working on the localization and restoration of databases. But really, all digital services that worked through state portals will not work yet.
“While the question remains, why the Ministry of Justice did not come out with the appropriate communication and instructions to citizens on what to do, it is possible to have paper documents with you for the time being, and the conclusion of marriage contracts through the Ministry of Justice will not work yet. From my own sources, I learned that all backups have been saved, recovery is now underway,” Fedienko summarized.

“We understand how important access to state registries and services is for each of you, and we sincerely apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Unfortunately, we faced a serious challenge – a large-scale failure at the level of the network infrastructure serving the registries.
We are well aware of how this can affect your plans and affairs.
We would like to assure you that the team of specialists of the National Information Systems State Enterprise is working in an intensified mode, making maximum efforts to restore the operation of all services as soon as possible. Data security is our top priority!” the statement reads.
The department noted that the work to eliminate problems at the level of network infrastructure continues, in connection with which the Unified and State registers, the creation and maintenance of which are under the competence of the Ministry of Justice, as well as the websites of the Ministry of Justice, SE “NAIS” and the call center will be unavailable to end of day
“We understand that every hour of waiting can be critical for your affairs, so we are doing everything possible to promptly resolve the situation. We will immediately inform you about the restoration of the systems or the time required for restoration,” the department added.
