President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted cynically “idea” of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin regarding the “technological duel”.
On December 19, the head of the Kremlin regime offered Western countries and Ukraine to identify an object in Kyiv that the Russian Federation will hit with a Oreshnyk missile for “technical experiment”.
“For this purpose, it is possible to determine some object of defeat in Kyiv, where the West can withdraw all its air defense forces – and Russia would strike. We are ready for such an experiment,” said the war criminal.
According to the dictator, Western experts believe that such missiles as Oreshnyk can be easily shot down, so he proposed to conduct “experiment”.
“You see who we are dealing with. Putin says: “We will strike, for example, somewhere in Kyiv with Oreshnyk, and let them supply anti-aircraft defense.” Well, let’s see what will happen.” Do you think that this is an adequate person? Just scumbags,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference with journalists in Brussels.

Oreshnik instead of nuclear threats. What do the new high-profile statements of Putin and Belousov mean at the collegium of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation – ISW analysis
On November 28, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin publicly threatened to strike “decision-making centers” in Kyiv with Oreshnyk missiles.
In December, a number of Western media, citing American officials, wrote that the Russian Federation was preparing a new attack on Ukraine with the Oreshnyk missile.
ISW analyzed that Putin, with loud statements about the Oreshnyk ballistic missile, is probably looking for a way to move away from his nuclear threats, which he is not ready to fulfill.
On December 16, the Russian dictator announced that serial production of the Oreshnyk medium-range ballistic missile would begin in the near future.
