McGregor plans to return to boxing. Will hold a match in India

Star Irishman Conor McGregorwho previously performed in mixed martial arts, plans to hold a fight according to the rules of boxing.

At first, journalists reported that the fighter could return to the UFC and fight with the champion Ilya Topuria. As it turned out, Conor is not going to fight in the Octagon and decided to visit India for a fight with video vlogger Logan Paul:

“The rumors about a match with Topurio (it seems that Conor deliberately spelled the Spaniard’s last name incorrectly – note) are lies. I have a preliminary contract with the Ambani family for an exhibition boxing match with Logan Paul in India. I agreed. After this fight, I will look for options to return to the Octagon,” McGregor wrote on social networks.

The Irishman last fought in July 2021, when he lost to American Dustin Poirier due to a leg injury.

It was previously reported that Conor was found guilty of rape and must pay a fine to the victims.
