British Defense Minister John Geely came to Kyiv the day before to discuss further assistance to Ukraine next year and joint plans. However, he refused to provide details of these plans.

“The details of our joint Ukrainian plan should remain, so to speak, inaccessible to (Russian) President (Vladimir) Putin,” the British defense minister said.

According to the sources of the BBC, the sending of the British military to Ukraine to help in the training of Ukrainian soldiers is not excluded.

Until now, training of the Ukrainian military took place in Britain. There is also a small group of British doctors who conduct training in Ukraine.

The British Defense Minister brought to Kyiv a promise to provide an additional $286 million in military aid to increase the number of drones, ammunition for artillery and air defense.

At the same time, during his visit, they also discussed ways to strengthen Ukraine’s position in the coming year, the BBC writes. And this, according to John Gilly, requires more weapons, more training and more sanctions against the Russian Federation.
