The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 9445, which removes the Soviet rudiment of the “consultation room” from the judicial process, the head of the committee on legal policy, People’s Deputy Denys Maslov, said on Thursday, writes UNN.

“The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law 9445 in the second reading. We are removing the Soviet rudiment of the “deliberation room” in the Central Committee of the Central Committee of the People’s Republic of China, the General Committee of the People’s Committee of the People’s Republic of China, and the Central Committee of the People’s Republic of China, replacing it with the stage of adopting a court decision,” Maslov said in Telegram.

As previously reported in the parliament, the draft law provides for the removal of the institution of the “council room” from the procedural legislation. According to the project, after the court debate, the court immediately announces the transition to the decision-making stage and the approximate time of its announcement. In exceptional cases, the court may postpone the announcement of the decision, but for a period of no more than ten days.

This law on improving the passing and promulgation of court decisions is expected to simplify and speed up the judicial process. And it was developed to harmonize national legislation with the legislation of EU countries.

“This is a long-awaited draft law that was developed with the participation of representatives of the judicial community,” Maslov said.
