“If we are talking about the Vremivsky performance, then the situation there is very complicated, and it is completely connected with the Kurakhiv direction. Why? Because the enemy, having surrounded our troops at this location, can cut the road from Kurakhovo to Zaporizhzhia and also create a very bad situation there directly near Kurakhovo,” Popovych said.

As the expert explained, the enemy wants to surround our troops, in particular, in the area of Velika Novosilka, and near Makarivka, in fact, a dangerous situation has already been created – there may also be an environment there:

“If we are talking about Makarivka, it is, again, a small radius of the environment, if you can call it that, near Velika Novosilka, there Makarivka is actually in a gray zone. It will be very difficult to leave there precisely because of the weather conditions. The fields are now softened, it will be very difficult to move on them – the infantry will pass, and the equipment may even have to be left to the enemy, as it will be loaded in the fields. And the same thing can happen near Kurakhovo, and the same thing happened in the Uspenivka area.”

The Russian occupiers continue cut off” A timely speech that threatens the encirclement of the positions of Ukrainian servicemen, Deep State analysts report.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 17, five Russian attacks took place in the direction of Vremiv near Kostyantynopolskyi, Suhy Yali, Storozhevo, Novosilka and Novodarivka.

In addition, the General Staff emphasized that the Kurakhiv direction remains one of the hottest on the entire front of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The Russian occupiers are trying to capture a road junction and a block of multi-apartment buildings in the southern part of Kurakhovo, conducting active assaults on the southeastern outskirts of the city.
