Will Pushych be released? Markevich appreciated the work of the Shakhtar coach

A famous Ukrainian coach Myron Markevich in an exclusive interview, Sport.ua evaluated Shakhtar Donetsk’s performance in the current season and commented on the possible dismissal of coach Marino Pushych:

– In your opinion, after such failures, the manager of “Miners” Marino Pushych should resign?

– It is difficult to give a comprehensive answer. I do not know who initiated his invitation, the terms of his contract. This is all very important.

– Or maybe all is not well in Shakhtar at the moment, because some players believe that they have already outgrown this team?

– This should not be the case a priori: if you are the team leader, you must take the game on yourself in a difficult moment. Of course, Pushych is also to blame for such a failure, it seems that he lost control over his wards. Currently, everyone is pulling the blanket to their side. So, there are some problems in the middle of the team.

“Shakhtar” scored 33 points this season and is in third place in the tournament table. The lag behind the leader – Dynamo Kyiv – is ten points.
