It is noted that the politician was to be interrogated by a panel composed of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the police and the anti-corruption investigation service. The ex-president had to explain all the circumstances of his declaration of martial law, which was assessed in the parliament as an attempt to suppress political competition and eventually voted for the resignation of the head of state.

Yoon Soi-yeol’s lawyers explained that the questioning was ignored by the fact that he had not yet completed the process of forming a defense team. In the near future, he should make a statement regarding the investigation that is being conducted against him.
