The interbank exchange rate of the dollar is set at UAH 41.88/41.93/dollar. / UNIAN collage, UNIAN photoOn Wednesday, December 18, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at UAH 41.83/dollar, i.e. the hryvnia weakened by 9 kopecks compared to the previous rate. Thus, the dollar renewed its historical maximum for the second day in a row.As for the European currency, the hryvnia also weakened. According to data on the regulator’s website, the official exchange rate for the euro on Wednesday is set at 43.91 hryvnias for one euro, i.e. the hryvnia lost 10 kopecks.
On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 5:00 p.m., hryvnia to dollar quotes were set at UAH 41.88/41.93/dollar, euro – UAH 43.99/44.03/euro.
Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest newsThe dollar rate at “PrivatBank” on December 17 increased by 5 kopecks and is UAH 42.00 per dollar. The euro rate in the bank has not changed today and is UAH 44.35 per euro. You can sell American currency in the bank at the rate of UAH 41.40, Euros at the rate of UAH 43.35 per unit of foreign currency.
By the end of 2025, the dollar exchange rate may rise to the level of 45.7 hryvnias, according to the macroeconomic forecast of the ICU investment group. Analysts assume that, according to the base scenario, it can be guaranteed that the rate of devaluation of the hryvnia will exceed 10% next year.
