Currently, the Ukrainian side does not report on this meeting. However, it is known that Zelenskyi is in Lviv, where today he took part in the meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities.

Donald Tusk announced last week that he will go to Kyiv early next year, after which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi will come to Warsaw.

Tusk also met with French President Emmanuel Macron last week. As reported, he proposed the idea of ​​deploying 40,000 military personnel in Ukraine, and on December 12 he visited Warsaw to discuss this idea. At a press conference after the meeting, Tusk told reporters that Poland had no intention of sending troops to Ukraine, and said that Warsaw would not be forced to do so.

Before that, on December 10, the Polish prime minister said that peace talks on ending Russia’s war in Ukraine could begin this winter.

“Our presidency will, in particular, be co-responsible for what the political landscape will look like, perhaps what the situation will be during the (peace) talks that may start – although there are still question marks – this winter,” Tusk said.
