Ukrainian veterans go to support Oleksandr Usyk during his fight with Tyson Fury.

About 40 Ukrainian veterans went to Riyadh to support Usyk. Among them are miners and energy engineers of DTEK, metallurgists and miners of “Metinvest”, as well as defenders of Mariupol within the framework of the “Heart of Azovstal” project.

The initiative became part of the joint “Battle for Light” campaign launched by DTEK company Rinata Akhmetova and Oleksandr Usyk.

Its purpose is to draw attention to the problems of the Ukrainian energy sector, which suffered due to Russian shelling, and to attract help from international partners for its restoration and protection.

We will remind, Usyk’s rematch against Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world boxing champion will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
