In Ukraine, within the framework of a joint project of several Ukrainian manufacturers and a Japanese engineering company, the production of Japanese pickups using the technology of large-node assembly will be launched (SKD).

Together with Ukrainian partners, the Japanese company plans to start the production of pickups using the technology of large-node assembly, and in the future they plan to switch to small-node production (CKD),” said Yuliya Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.

She noted that more than 40 key Japanese companies operate in Ukraine.

According to Svyridenko, now war risk insurance is available for investors from the American International Development Finance Agency (DFC), the multilateral investment guarantee agency MIGA, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, foreign export credit agencies and the Ukrainian EKA.

As reported, in November the company Kronospan Rivne, which is part of the international corporation Kronospan (Austria), launched a new line for the production of oriented strand boards.

Investments in new facilities amounted to 200 million euros.
