It is noted that the explosion took place at 6 o’clock in the morning near building 2 on Ryazansky prospect in the Nizhny Novgorod district, as a result of which the windows of the nearest apartments were broken.
Emergency services arrived at the scene. According to preliminary data, two people died as a result of the explosion.
In particular, the local publication “Baza” writes that as a result of an explosion in Moscow, a lieutenant general of the Russian Armed Forces, whose name has not been released, and his aide died. According to one of the versions, the explosive device could be attached to the steering wheel of the scooter standing near the entrance.
“The explosion occurred after the detonation of an explosive device. According to preliminary data, an improvised explosive device was planted at the exit from the entrance,” the message reads.
Later it became known that as a result of an explosion in Moscow, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Ihor Kyrylov, died. The death of his assistant was also confirmed.
