It is noted that even SpaceX’s fulfillment of orders in the space industry does not give Musk the maximum level of involvement in state secrets. Ironically, the position of co-chair of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency is unlikely to change this.
The fact is that Musk does not meet several criteria for admission to the highest level. In particular, the security department is afraid that the billionaire may reveal American secrets to one of the world leaders with whom he constantly communicates – the Russian dictator Putin is also named in the list.
Musk was also reminded of his participation in a podcast with Joe Rogan in 2018, where he simply smoked marijuana on air. The mass media attribute the businessman’s use of other drugs – ketamine, LSD, ecstasy and some types of mushrooms. All this is not compatible with access to state secrets.
