The police declared the founder of the StateWatch organization Oleksandr Lemenov wanted as a person hiding from pre-trial investigation authorities. The activist says that a whole special operation was conducted to bring him under the case and detain him.

According to information on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lemenov was wanted as a suspect in a criminal offense under Article 336, part 1 (evasion of mobilization). The sanction of the article is from two to five years of imprisonment. Lemenov was added to the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on December 12.

On December 6, Lemenov himself announced on Facebook that he had been served with a summons to undergo a medical examination on November 25. According to him, he was notified about it by text message, after which he himself picked it up on November 24 at the Bilotserkivsky district TCC.

However, due to illness, he did not appear at the Lemenov Medical Commission and began to wait for a second summons. But he did not wait – on December 6, he was detained by the police and taken to the Pechersk TCC.

Then he was taken from Kyiv to the Military Commissariat of Bila Tserkva, where a military summons was issued under a video camera (that is, already for mobilization with subsequent dispatch to a military unit). Without any passage of VLK. Lemenov indicates that he previously cooperated with one of the Ukrainian special services, but as soon as he lost this status, he was taken “at gunpoint”. DBR: “They don’t need me in the army, they need me with criminal proceedings.”
