According to the Israeli media, a Syrian military observer called the attack on the facilities in Tartus “the most powerful strikes” in the area in more than ten years – since 2012.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) claims that Israeli warplanes struck a number of targets, including air defense units and “surface-to-surface missile bases”.

Syrian sources said that in Tarus, the target of the strikes was a military base of air defense forces and a warehouse of surface-to-surface missiles.
