Within three days of the start of the “Winter is Support” program, more than 4 million applications for a payment of 1,000 hryvnias were received through the “Action” application. 900,000 of them are for children.

“On the third day since the start of the “Winter is Support” program, Ukrainians have already submitted more than 4 million applications to receive a payment of UAH 1,000 through the Diya application. Of these, 900,000 applications are payments for children,” said Yuliya Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.
The Ministry of Economy reminded that from December 4, Ukrposhta will start paying state aid to pensioners and people with disabilities, in particular those who live in rural areas and on the frontline territories.
“The rate of submission of applications from citizens to receive assistance from the state under the “Winter is Support” program remains high. This shows the relevance and timeliness of such social support for Ukrainians,” added Svyridenko.
At the same time, People’s Deputy from “Servant of the People”, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk said that the “Winter is Support” program is an attempt to count the population in Ukraine and identify men who evade mobilization.
The President of Ukraine announced a new aid package for Ukrainians for the winter period in November. The Cabinet of Ministers began to prepare a series of decisions.
