The Danish brewing holding Carlsberg Group has announced the sale of shares in the Russian brewing company “Baltika” to a structure owned by its two top managers. This is stated in the Carlsberg Group press release. The deal is expected to be completed within the next few days. The Carlsberg Group will receive monetary compensation, and as well as shares in Carlsberg Azerbaijan and Carlsberg Kazakhstan, owned by Baltika Breweries.Advertisement: According to the agreement, two top managers of Baltika will buy out the company and also take over management, where one of them will become the general director, and the other – his deputy. Their names have not been disclosed.Recall:Advertisement: Shares of Carlsberg rose 3.9% after Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin signed a decree ending government control of the brewing company’s Russian business.
