Legendary heavyweight Larry Holmeswho defeated 20 boxers for the world title, named a modern boxer who would beat the prime Mike Tyson. Holmes singled out Anthony Joshua.
“If Joshua fought a guy like Mike Tyson, he would win, he would knock out a prime Mike Tyson. There is no doubt here. Mike Tyson would go low and then get up and try to throw uppercuts. But Joshua would just hit him with a straight right. He would knock him out, Tyson would not get up then.
I have nothing against Mike Tyson, he kicked my ass. But then I had a two-year break, I quit boxing,” said Holmes.
Holmes previously named a boxer who punched harder than Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
