The company has remembered almost all of the past assassins.
Ubisoft presented a new screensaver for Assassin’s Creed / Photo – UbisoftAssassin’s Creed series producer Marc-Alexis Côté has unveiled a new screen saver that will be used in future games in the franchise, starting with Assassin’s Creed Shadows.Fans took note of the BAFTA video where Côté gave a speech. In the middle of his speech, he showed a 20-second clip that players will see when launching new parts of the series. This screensaver features the main characters from the previous games. Special emphasis is placed on Altair and Ezio, but Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s Jacob Fry is absent from the video, although his sister Evie is present.
According to Cote, the main purpose of the new screensaver is to show the continuous connection between the past, present and future of the series. He emphasized that this is an important step to strengthen the unity of the franchise and its history. Earlier, he already stated that the writers of Shadows tried to restore the balance between the plot branches of the game in the past and the present.
Earlier, Marc-Alexis Cote said that he does not understand the current trends in the gaming industry and what players are interested in now. According to the producer, for the past two years he has been studying the changes in Ubisoft’s audience, but without success.
