December 2 Altug Chelikbilek (ATP 451), who is the second number of men’s tennis in Turkey, reached the semi-final hard match at the ITF M15 tournament in Monastir (Tunisia) against Yanka Erel.

After the first game of the first set, Altug felt sick. He withdrew from the match immediately.

28-year-old Chelikbilek suffered an intracerebral hemorrhage. He was rushed to Turkey, where he was operated on, he was unconscious. This happened back on November 30, so long absence of news is worrying.

On December 1, an unpleasant incident also occurred in Italy. Fiorentina player Eduardo Bove fainted just during the match against Inter. He is currently in intensive care.
