Mikhalczyk moves from IDM to the British Superbike Championship

Ukrainian rider Ilya Mikhalchyk is leaving the German IDM Superbike Championship, which he won a record four times.

Starting from the 2025 season, Mikhalchyk will compete in the BSB British Superbike Championship. In addition to the championship, the Ukrainian is changing his team and class – next season he will compete in the Superstock class, but, as before, on a BMW motorcycle.

Also, in the new season, Ilya Mikhalchyk will not compete in the EWC Endurance World Championship, in which he took third place in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, and became the vice-champion of the world in 2021.

We will remind that in the 2024 season, Ilya Mikhalchyk won the IDM championship for the fourth time since the Superbike class was founded, repeating Markus Reiterberger’s record. At the same time, the Ukrainian won nine victories, finished on the podium four more times and never came down.
