President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with parliamentarians and diplomats of Latin American countries in Kyiv. The parties discussed a number of issues, including the deepening of cooperation in the defense of Ukraine.

A delegation from Latin America arrived in Kyiv to participate in a parliamentary conference on the topic “Ukraine – countries of Latin America and the Caribbean: cooperation for the future”. Representatives of 14 countries participated in the event, including Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, El Salvador, Ecuador, Peru and Costa Rica
During the meeting, Zelenskyy told the delegates about Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, constant shelling and attacks by the occupiers on the energy system, the situation at the front, as well as the abduction and deportation of Ukrainian children to the territory of the aggressor country.
As noted in the President’s Office, the head of state separately informed about the Ukrainian Peace Formula, which fully complies with the UN Charter, and about the results of the first Peace Summit. Zelensky reminded that during this event Latin America was represented at the level of leaders.
Unfortunately, Russia rejects both the Peace Formula and all other proposals based on the UN Charter. They do not respect and do not recognize the Charter, they only talk about it, – Zelenskyi noted.
The president also added that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin believes only in war and his missiles. But we have to force Russia to make an honest peace, Zelensky emphasized.
