ADDRESS OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE, VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY

“Together with the Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, today we determined that it is worth replacing the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Major General Mykhailo Drapaty was appointed as the new commander. Also, Colonel Oleg Apostol was appointed as the new deputy of the Central Committee – before that, he commanded the 95th brigade of the DSHV. Both are very experienced warriors. Mykhailo Drapaty this year organized the defense in the Kharkiv direction and actually disrupted the Russian offensive operation. In general, he has been at war since 2014, in the most hot and responsible areas. Oleg Apostol is a Hero of Ukraine, has passed all the command positions in the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and has also been protecting our country since 2014. He clearly knows what is needed to strengthen the fighting capacity of our army. Now Oleg Apostol will be responsible for the new quality of training of our soldiers. It has full support at all levels to ensure just that. Ground troops of the Armed Forces are the backbone of the army. And much depends for Ukraine on how effectively the structure of the Ground Forces and all Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine will work. Changes are needed – changes in people management that will deliver more results on the battlefield.”

We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and help them! Together we are a force! Glory to Ukraine!
