This is reported by G4Media.ro.

It is noted that the decision will be announced on Monday, December 2 at 5:00 p.m.

The publication reminds that the day before the Court ordered to count all the ballots of the first round of the presidential elections. Subsequently, the CEC of Romania reported that the re-election may be held on December 15, and the second round – on December 29.

As it is known, the candidate from conservatives, Christian Terhes, applied to the court with a request to annul the results of the vote. At the same time, the government stated that they have evidence of interference in the campaign by hostile entities.

At the same time, according to the results announced by the country’s CEC, the winner of the first round was the 62-year-old right-wing radical Celin Georgescu, who supports the regime of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and claims that the “imperialist” military-industrial complex is behind the war in Ukraine.

In turn, the pro-Western candidates Yelena Lasconi and Marcel Čolaku received about 19 percent of the vote, however, it was Lasconi who made it to the second round.
