The law, which provides for a historic increase in taxes No. 11416-d, will enter into force on November 29. It has already been published in the newspaper Voice of Ukraine, said Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

Thus, the military levy at the new rate of 5% must be withheld for two days in November.

“Regarding FOP, we have made a corresponding amendment, according to which the obligation to pay VZ at the new rates will apply to them from January 1, 2025, if the amendment next week is supported by the Supreme Court. I am convinced that the amendment will be supported,” the deputy wrote.

Previously, it was expected that the law would enter into force on December 1.

On November 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the law on raising taxes 44 days after its adoption by the parliament.

The law, among other things, provides for an increase in the military levy from 1.5 to 5% (except for military personnel). This fee will now also be paid by FOPs.

In addition, the document introduces a 50% tax on banks, 25% PP for financial companies and the transition to monthly income tax reporting (PTFO).

In October, the deputies voted for the draft law on increasing taxes. Subsequently, the parliament rejected all resolutions that blocked its signing. On October 15, the law was sent to the President for signature.
