The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, reacted to the latest statement of the Russian President, Volodymyr Putin, regarding possible strikes by the new Oreshnik ballistic missiles on the “decision-making centers in Kyiv.”

“Putin obviously wants to add thousands more to the thousands of missiles that have already hit Ukraine. He does not need the end of this war. Moreover, Putin wants to prevent others from ending this war. He can wave his “nutcracker” now only in order to frustrate the efforts of President Trump, which will definitely take place after the inauguration. “Putin wants to escalate the situation now so that nothing will happen to President Trump – so that he will not be able to end the war,” he said in his video message.

According to him, Putin’s escalation now is pressure to later force the US president to agree to Russia’s terms.
