State Emergency Service: remnants of a Russian Kh-55 cruise missile were discovered in Kyiv

Pyrotechnicians discovered the remnants of the Russian Kh-55 cruise missile in one of the districts of Kyiv, the State Emergency Service reported in a telegram.

“The wreckage, although it did not pose a direct threat to the population, could become dangerous without immediate intervention,” the report says.

The State Emergency Service reminds that if you find a suspicious object, you should not approach or touch it, but immediately report the find to 101.

Rescuers do not specify in which area the remains of the rocket were found.

The Armed Forces previously reported the downing of 76 (out of 85 launched) Kh-101/Kalibr cruise missiles, three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 35 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unspecified type, and 62 drones were “lost in location” . In total, Russia attacked 188 means of air attack.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of the Russian attack, there were 12 hits, mainly on the objects of the fuel and energy sector.

As the Kyiv City Military Administration informed, falling debris was recorded in two districts of Kyiv. It is noted that in the Dnipro region there was a fall on an open territory, and in the Darnytskyi region a separate enterprise suffered damage – broken doors, windows, and a damaged truck.
