GUR destroyed the Russian “Podlyot” radar in occupied Crimea for $5 million

The Main Directorate of Intelligence conducted a special operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea, as a result of which the Russian Podlyot radar station was destroyed on November 28.

Literally: “As a result of a successful operation by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Russian Podlyot radar complex was destroyed near the settlement of Kotovskoe in the west of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Details: Intelligence explains that this radar is used by the enemy to detect air targets at low and extremely low altitudes in a difficult obstacle environment.

The estimated value of the destroyed enemy radar complex is 5 million dollars.

The GUR added that the “Podlyot” station is intended, in particular, for issuing target designations for the S-300 and S-400 air defense systems.
