The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, noting that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the relevant law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on November 19.
This budget corresponds to the decision of the National Security Council of October 2, 2024 regarding proposals to the state budget, which approves the need to increase expenditures to ensure national security and defense in 2025, taking into account the military situation and the requirements of budget legislation.
The National Security Council emphasized that the government should provide funding for the security and defense forces, in particular for the payment of financial support to military personnel, police officers, and non-commissioned officers. These measures are a priority and are under constant control of the President and the National Security Council.
