Huge music star to play FREE gig for fans – and here’s how you can get tickets

A HUGE Brit music star is set to play a free gig for fans – showcasing acoustic versions of his top tunes.

The singer – who got married earlier this month – will perform an intimate London concert for a handful of lucky ticket-holders in December.

It comes after the Human hitmaker’s UK tour and 2024 festival datesCredit: SuppliedHuman hitmaker Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, 39, will take to the stage at PizzaExpress Live on Wednesday, December 4.

His setlist – which comes after his UK tour and 2024 festival gigs – will kick off the restaurant’s festive Press for Showtime series and organisers say the star will “bring his soulful sound to an incredibly intimate setting.”

They added: “Performing hits acoustically that have captivated fans around the world, this one-of-a-kind performance will be accessible via a free ticket ballot.”

Rag ‘N’ Bone man will delight crowds at one of the restaurant chain’s London eateries, with the exact location to be revealed.

The free ticket ballot remains open until December 1, with the lucky winners contacted the following day.

PizzaExpress’ Press for Showtime’s wider series features performances by Symphonic Six and John’s Boys Male Chorus, to name a few.

This will continue through December in Cardiff, Leeds and Birmingham.

The gig comes after Anywhere Away From Here singer Rag ‘N’ Bone Man broke down when discussing his new album on the Graham Norton Show.

His emotion flowed after he performed fresh track, Pocket, live on the BBC series in October.

Opening up on the heart-wrenching track, from fresh release What Do You, host Graham told how the lyrics came from “a beautiful sad place.”

Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, real name Rory Graham, agreed and said: “I was trying to figure out how to talk to children about loss and how you sugar coat things and say someone has gone to a better place.

“Even if you don’t necessarily believe that, it was OK to say.

“And I guess what do you believe in means – ohh sorry,” before a sharp intake of breath.

As he continued to stay silent, host Graham said: “Are you OK? You don’t look …” before the audience filled the silence with a round of applause.

Rag ‘N’ Bone man said: “No I am good.”

Graham, offering further support, added: “If its hard to talk about then don’t, honestly you’re fine.”

Yet the hitmaker battled on and said: “Basically I was trying to tell my kids about the loss of my mum.

“And basically what I concluded was it doesn’t really matter what we believe in, it’s about our collective love for each other, and how we get through that together as a family.”

After the emotional confession, Graham replied: “I didn’t mean to upset you but thank you for sharing that.”

The star’s mum Jane, a key figure in the Uckfield music scene, died in January 2023.
