The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer.

The head of state spoke about the fact that today Russia used more than 90 missiles and almost 100 drones against the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.

The President thanked for the support from Great Britain, in particular, for the readiness to allocate at least 3 billion pounds for Ukraine’s needs every year.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Kir Starmer discussed the continuation of defense cooperation and agreed to be in close contact with European leaders regarding steps that should ensure Ukraine the strongest position before any development of events.

The head of state emphasized that for this Ukraine needs to be invited to NATO and build up its long-range capabilities.

Separately, they discussed the possible participation of Ukraine at the invitation of Estonia in the Joint Expeditionary Force summit, which will be held in Tallinn next month. This year, Ukraine became the only country that participated as an observer in the JEF Joint Protector 2024 exercises. The President noted that our country is interested in deepening cooperation with this association.

In addition, the leaders agreed to speed up the preparation of an agreement on a one-year partnership between Ukraine and Great Britain.
