Former world champion in three weight categories Duke Mackenzie assessed the prospects of the Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk in a fight with the British contender Tyson Fury:
“Usyk is a very developed boxer. He is not going to fight his opponents, he wants to box with them. He has a brilliant IQ. Oleksandr holds the shot well.
To be honest, we don’t see Usyk holding a punch. Because we don’t see how he misses them. The sign of a good champion is not to show a reaction if you miss a nasty shot. In the first match, Alexander did not show that Fury got him. That’s the mark of a champion,” McKenzie enthuses.
