Spectators of yesterday’s Ukrainian hockey championship match between Odesa “Storm” and “Kyiv Capitals” watched a rare picture for hockey. After the match, the hockey players of the Odesa club collectively did not shake hands with the captain of the opponents, Serhiyev Chernenko. The exception is striker Valentyn Aleksyuk, who was the first in line for a handshake. And he, it seems, did not have time to find his way.
“Storma” hockey players say that this is a reaction to Serhiy’s exceptionally rude behavior during the first match, dirty play, sneaky hits and offensive remarks.
“Capitals” defeated “Storm” by the results of the shootout series 3:2, scored 17 points and got closer to Odessa, who are in second place, at a distance of one point. “Sokil” is the new leader of the championship – 19 points.
