President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
The head of state thanked for the organization of the extraordinary meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, which took place yesterday, at the request of Ukraine. At it, the Ukrainian side presented detailed information on Russia’s use of a new ballistic missile on the Dnieper.
The President stated that Ukraine expects a decisive and timely response from the Alliance to Russia’s expansion of the war. In particular, a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of foreign ministers will take place in Brussels on December 3 and 4. Ukraine is counting on support in the transfer of air defense equipment capable of intercepting missiles of this type. Ukraine handed over the list of air defense systems that are in service with the Alliance countries to its partners.
