The security service of Ukrnafta PJSC discovered the fact of illegal interference in the company’s pipeline in the Poltava region. In the pipeline of one of the gas wells, a ball valve and a metal pipe were illegally welded into the inhibitor pipe.

There are no traces of active selection, as the well is undergoing major repairs and has not been working for about a month, the company noted.
“Illegal insertion has been eliminated. Measures are currently being taken to calculate the damages and identify the persons involved in the crime. “Ukrnafta” continues to protect the company’s infrastructure and resources and cooperates with law enforcement agencies to prevent similar incidents,” the press service clarified.
“Ukrnafta” is the largest oil producing company of Ukraine, which is the operator of the national gas station network. In March 2024, the company entered the management of Glusco assets, and currently operates a total of 547 gas stations – 462 of its own and 85 under management.
The company is implementing a comprehensive program to restore operations and update the format of gas stations in its network. Since February 2023, it has been issuing its own NAFTAKarta fuel coupons and cards, which are sold to legal entities and individuals through Ukrnafta-Postach LLC.
In addition, “Ukrnafta” has 92 special permits for the industrial development of deposits, on its balance sheet there are 1,832 oil and 154 gas production wells.
The largest shareholder of Ukrnafta is Naftogaz of Ukraine with a stake of 50% + 1 share.
In November 2022, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces decided to transfer to the state a share of the corporate rights of the company, which belonged to private owners and is now managed by the Ministry of Defense.
