“Sevastopol, the territory of the Nakhimov Black Sea Naval School after the explosions. Where did they hit?” – asks one of the public.

After the air alarm was sounded in Sevastopol, the sounds of explosions were again heard, writes the project of Radio Liberty Crimea.Realii.

According to the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”, the sound of the flight of drones was heard on the northern side of Sevastopol. Also, the sounds of air defense operations were reported from Inkerman, the area of the “Saki” airfield in Novofedorivka, and the Belbek airfield.

The head of the occupation authorities of Sevastopol, Mykhailo Razvozhaev, also informed about the work of the Air Defense Forces of the Russian Federation. He later claimed two downed aerial targets over the water area in the North Side area. It is not yet possible to confirm this information from independent sources. At 9:42 a.m. local time (that’s 8:42 a.m. Kyiv time), Razvozhaev reported the sounding of an air raid alarm.

In Sevastopol, an air alert was announced at 9:15 a.m. local time (8:15 a.m. Kyiv time). Before that, the Russian “Directorate for the Development of Road and Transport Infrastructure of the City of Sevastopol” announced the suspension of sea passenger transport.

Russian monitoring stations reported the threat of drone strikes and Neptune missiles on the western coast of the Crimean Peninsula. In particular, it is reported about the alleged launch of two Neptune missiles and one S-200 missile, as well as up to 20 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Starting from August 2022, the sounds of explosions can be heard in Crimea almost every day. The Russian authorities explain this by shooting at “Ukrainian drones”, “air defense work” or exercises of the Russian military. The leader of the Russian-controlled Crimea, Serhiy Aksyonov, called drones the “main threat” to Crimea.
