Rocker Marilyn Manson has agreed to drop a lawsuit against his ex-fiancée, “Wild West” actress Evan Rachel Wood, and pay her attorney’s fees. This is reported by the Associated Press UNN.

Details

His move comes 18 months after a Los Angeles County judge dismissed most of a 2022 lawsuit in which Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, alleged that Wood fabricated public allegations that he exposed her of sexual and physical abuse during their relationship, and encouraged other women to falsify the allegations.

After four years of fighting to tell the truth, Brian is happy to dismiss his claims and the pending appeal to close the door on this chapter of his life.

Manson appealed the judge’s ruling, but his lawyers approached Wood for a settlement this spring. Wood’s lawyers said she declined a request to keep the terms confidential.

Manson agreed to pay Wood about $327,000 in attorney fees.

The deal was the result of a nearly four-year criminal investigation into the 55-year-old Manson involving several women, which has yet to be concluded. Outgoing Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon said in October that his office’s sex crimes unit had just uncovered new evidence and that a decision on whether to file charges would be made when the picture is more complete.
