During the meetings, Umerov is expected to share Ukrainian intelligence about North Korean troops in Russia and try to enlist South Korea’s support for Ukraine’s military efforts.
Currently, the Ukrainian side does not officially inform about Umyerov’s visit to Seoul, its purpose and the issues planned for discussion.
Instead, the day before, the Hong Kong edition of the South China Morning Post, citing informed sources, reported that the Ukrainian delegation will appeal to the leadership of South Korea with a request for military assistance and intends to present a list of necessary weapons, which includes anti-aircraft missiles and artillery installations.

As reported by Ukrinform, South Korea plans to provide humanitarian aid in the amount of 6 million US dollars as part of the “Grain from Ukraine” initiative.
