The meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council was convened last week in connection with Russia’s first use of an experimental ballistic missile on the territory of Ukraine, which the Russians named Oreshnik.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiga, previously noted that Kyiv hopes for “concrete, meaningful results” after the Ukraine-NATO Council.
After the Oreshnik strike, Kyiv turned to its partners with a request to help strengthen air defenses to protect against such ballistic missiles.
