Exchange rate jumps are unlikely, and overall growth, compared to November, may be between 0.2% and 0.8%.The head of the treasury department of Globus Bank, Taras Lesovy, told UNIAN that there are many unknown factors that can put pressure on citizens and the market in general. In particular, it is about the energy situation, the consequences of war for infrastructure, the situation on the battlefield, as well as foreign economic and foreign political circumstances.
The banker believes that it is quite possible that on January 1, 2025, the official exchange rate will stop within the range of 41.6-41.8 hryvnias per dollar.
Thus, 100 dollars in hryvnias at the end of 2024 will cost Ukrainians 4,160 – 4,180 hryvnias. At the same time, 1,000 dollars in hryvnias will cost 41,600 – 41,800 hryvnias.
Dollar exchange rate in Ukraine – forecast for the New YearUkrainian economist and financial analyst Andrii Shevchyshyn noted that by the end of 2024, the dollar exchange rate may reach the level of 42-43 hryvnias per dollar.
