“Age will take its toll.” Sapronov called Tsurenko’s main problem

Former vice-president of the Tennis Federation of Ukraine Yuriy Sapronov told why the Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko could not fully reveal its potential.

“I always said that Lesya was a little unlucky at the start. I remember her well when I was 15-16 years old, because I helped Lesya financially for a year or two. She was then coached by the Medvedevs’ mother, Mrs. Svitlana. I do not share the approach that was used then.

Because the talented girl was not “killed” like Lopatetska (a tennis gem was lost forever due to the mistakes of the coach and her mother), but the huge number of injuries she has now is an echo of those training mistakes that were made when the body was weak.

Girls are all different. Dayana Yastremska was ready to play at an adult level already at the age of 16 according to physics and testosterone. It’s normal, you just have to see it and take your time. Lesi – a low bow and thank you very much. Because she always plays better for the team than individually. Always gives his all.

Age will take its toll and she simply lacks gas for third sets or additional tournaments. May God give her human happiness, because she is a wonderful person who gave a lot of herself to the national team of Ukraine and team tennis. A low bow,” said Sapronov.

Earlier, Yuriy Sapronov named and voiced the main problem of Marta Kostyuk.
