It is noted that at the direction of Ukrenergo, another round of blackouts was added from 1:00 p.m. Therefore, the schedules have changed:
- Kyiv – 1st group: disconnections will start from 13:00, not from 14:00.
- Kyiv region – 2nd group: disconnections will start from 13:00, not from 14:00.
- Odesa – Group 2: shutdowns will start from 13:00, not 14:00.
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 2nd group: shutdowns will start from 13:00, not from 14:00.
Today, hourly blackout schedules were planned between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (one shift).
But Ukrenergo warned that electricity consumption is increasing in Ukraine due to frosty weather, and since the situation in the power system is changing, changes in shutdown schedules are also possible.

On the night of November 17, Russian troops launched a massive combined attack on the facilities of the energy sector of Ukraine, using, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces, 120 missiles and 90 unmanned aerial vehicles. After this attack, for the first time in the last few months, Ukraine began to apply blackout schedules that had not been in effect since the summer.
According to the Ministry of Energy, since October 2022, Russia has carried out more than a thousand strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, this year alone 9 GW of generating capacity was lost due to strikes.
