The explanatory note to the document states that the new procedure will make it possible to “significantly relieve the burden on the courts” and reduce “excess court costs” of citizens. If the draft law is adopted, it will enter into force on November 1, 2025. According to the current legislation of the Russian Federation, the collection of tax debt from an individual who is not an individual entrepreneur takes place exclusively in court.
